Phillip and Marilyn

Hi, my name is Marilyn. When I graduated from college I had no direction in my life. I couldn’t find a ‘real job’ so I took a job as a waitress. Six years later I was still working in restaurants and had no idea what I was going to do with my life. My parents paid for my college education and I wanted to make them proud – but with each passing year the guilt just got worse and worse.

Just before Philip and I got married, I decided to get into Real Estate because I liked working with people. I was hoping it would give me the flexibility to work my own hours and not be stuck in some office everyday with a boss hanging over my head. I was in the biggest graduating class of Realtors ever seen in my area and at the same time, the housing market crashed right when I received my selling license. My meager savings from waiting tables was gone and I had had no income at all. To make matters worse, Philip and I wanted to have a nice wedding but had no way to pay for it. I felt that I had failed AGAIN in my life, and the nagging feeling that I had disappointed my parents burned in my conscience. My confidence in my ability to succeed in anything was at an all time low.

About that time, a friend introduced me to this business. I started to get excited again because I could work from home, set my own hours, and set my own income goals. Philip looked at the marketing system and we both agreed that it was worth a serious commitment to go for it. To me, the most attractive benefit was the support system that was in place for anyone just starting out. I had my own business, but was never alone! By simply following the step-by-step plan and working at my own speed, I made $1,500 in my very first month. Since then, I’ve slowly but surely been working my way up the ladder of success.

Now, 14 years later, Philip and I work this business full time. When he saw the lifestyle and the fun that came with the business – he couldn’t resist. We earn a six figure income and life is beautiful beyond our wildest dreams. We are so grateful that we can work at home, as a team, and raise our seven year old twins ourselves. They know that we love them because we’re here all day – every day – with them. When we see the restrictions that other families have because of their jobs and income levels, we realize what a blessing this business really is.

Philip and I have a beautiful home in a highly regarded neighborhood; we own a boat, a gorgeous seaside property, and have the means to provide a wonderful life for our family. The sense of freedom and responsibility for our own lives and how we choose to live it is truly a gift! We also feel a great sense of pride at being able to help people realize their own dreams and sense of accomplishment. Best of all, I know that my parents are proud of me and the person I have become.
